Volunteers at Hospice are a special class of sharers and carers. They give of their time, talent and heart. They provide vital links to connect with patients and family members, donors, members of the public. They also form bridges to better care and communication with patients.
Our Volunteers care for the patients’ physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual well-being. They are a pillar of support to our patients with their presence and support.
We provide training to guide our caregivers through the delicate and painful transition of bereavement and loss in the course of their work with us. We know how it feels to lose a loved one. We are here to support our volunteers as much as we can in terms of personal development and growth.
